Skúter IV – young art event is a periodic international event built as a representative Central European exhibition of the upcoming generation of Czech, Slovak and Hungarian artists under the age of 35. The exhibition features 24 selected artists who reflect the contemporary world in a unique way - bringing a whole spectrum of approaches and media from classical painting, through photography, object, installation to digital moving image. The main intention of the organizers is to create a periodic platform for the presentation of contemporary artistic language, to stimulate the current work of young people and to bring gender correctness in the selection of authors.
The creation of the artworks has been supported using public funding in the form of a scholarship by the Slovak Arts Council.
