Blooming Cherry, Indefinite Clouds @ Šopa gallery, Košice, Slovakia

My solo show at Šopa gallery has just recently ended so here are some installation pics.

Also above is me and the show's curator and the gallery directress Petra Housková giving speech at the opening.

At the exhibition entitled Blooming Cherry, Indefinite Clouds, I presented the latest works with the features of a graphic experiment, inspired by a residency in Tokyo and the Japanese woodcut technique ‘ukiyo-e‘. I have been developing sudden and random revelations of eternal questions about the last meaning of life in typical, complicated compositions. The set of multi-layered woodcuts is complemented by smaller formats given by a simple but distinctive relief drawing.
